On Wednesday February 19, 2025, the Atomic Energy Commissioner, Dr Abdelhamid Mellah, paid a working visit to the nuclear research center of Tamenghasset , to enquire about activities and the progress of projects underway.
A working session was held with the center’s managers, in the presence of the general manager of the nuclear research center of Tamenghasset.
The commissioner instructed the center’s managers to redouble their efforts to enhance the center’s deserved place in the field of research and development. Instructions were also given to speed up the construction of the new headquarters of the Tamenghasset nuclear research center, and to rehabilitate the service-use housing so that it can be assigned as soon as possible. A site visit was made to the new headquarters of the Nuclear research center of Tamenghasset in In Kouf.
